Kool Kakes Not taking orders x i started this business a few years after doing my apprenticeship in pastry and baking. i make everything my self and my hand.

🍰🍰🍰 Huge news 🍰🍰🍰

After 12 amazing years I have decided to close Kool Kakes.
This decision has not been an easy one especially with this last year being my busiest to date.
I grew my little business from the ground up. Working part time in hospitality while selling at farmers markets on weekends. Working 7 days a week for so many years. Now only 6 days a week 😅 and full time caking for so many years now.

The last few years have been testing for my small business and my personal life. Thriving through covid, family battles and losses with cancer, pets (family) passing. Also cost of living 💔

And not to forget the good things. Being able to buy our first house and (still) doing Reno’s, my first nephew 🩵

These things have made me reflect on the hours and hours I put in to this business every week and how much I have missed out on because I can’t say no/take a break.

I have made cakes for so many families and seeing their children grow and change with each celebration has meant so much to me. I will truly miss you all.

I wouldn’t have been so successful without my mum 🩷 for doing all my dishes and letting me work from your kitchen for the last 12 years and long long before that 😘

You still have a chance to order a sweet treat before I close for good.
