My name is Alpha and I enjoy making desserts including baking and decorating cakes and cupcakes. I also love experimenting with different flavours so if you have an interesting/unusual one in mind, please do not hesitate to send me a message and I'll work with you to try and make this a reality (additional charges may apply for flavours not already included in the menu). Some information about me
and my business:
a. All Capa-cakes products are made in a registered kitchen. I'm a mom to two adorable but cheeky babies so if you send me a message and I don't reply immediately, please be assured that I will respond to you as soon as I possibly can. I am not an allergen-free bakery. Unless specified otherwise, my products will most likely contain common allergens like eggs, milk and wheat. All items ordered are to be picked up from Capa-cakes. Unfortunately, I will not be able to make any deliveries. e. Please give me at least three week's notice, especially for custom orders. Occasionally, I may accept rush orders but this cannot be guaranteed so book in advance to avoid any disappointment. f. I do not copy other people's work but I may take inspiration from them. If you have an idea of the design you want, feel free to send me a photo for inspiration though I will not copy its exact details. I can work together with you to create a cake that you would be happy with and is truly customised to you (or the cake recipient). g. I use buttercream to coat and decorate my cakes and cupcakes. I do not use fondant though may use it (or something similar) to create cake toppers. h. Everything is made to order so a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking (bank transfer). I will send you a confirmation once I have received your deposit and secured your booking date. The remaining balance is to be paid before the pick up date (bank transfer). Orders will not be released until full payment is received. i. Please do not pay the deposit until I have confirmed that I am accepting your order. j. For food safety and hygiene reasons, products cannot be returned once it has left the premises. If you have any issues with your order, please send me a message and I'll be happy to assess the issue and assist in any way I can. k. Some products may need to be kept cool in the refrigerator if it's going to be a while before serving. Please ensure you follow instructions given to you at the time of pick up. l. I work from home so orders will need to be picked up within the time range agreed upon. Unfortunately, if you are too early or too late, I will not be able to guarantee that I will be able to accommodate you (e.g. I may have another appointment).
