🍽️ WE'RE HIRING – Casual Kitchen Hand / Dishwasher 🍽️

Ellis Beach Bar & Grill is looking for a reliable and hardworking Casual Kitchen Hand / Dishwasher to join our busy kitchen team.
Located just north of Cairns, we are a fast-paced beachfront venue serving locals, tourists, and event guests throughout the year.

About the Role: • Washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
• Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen, wash-up area, and food preparation areas
• Assisting chefs with basic food preparation as required
• Receiving and storing stock deliveries
• Emptying bins and maintaining waste management areas
• General cleaning duties throughout the kitchen and back-of-house areas
• Following food safety, hygiene, and workplace health & safety procedures
• Assisting the kitchen team during busy service periods
Essential Requirements: • Previous experience in a similar kitchen hand, dishwasher, or hospitality role
• Own reliable transport (there is no public transport to our location)
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and public holidays when required
• Ability to work well within a team
