On Thursday 23 July, Chef Nico invites you to experience the most personal edition of Italia a Tavola yet:
Fire & Grill.
Born in Avellino and raised between the traditions of Naples and the Gargano region of Puglia, Nico grew up surrounded by fishermen, farmers and grandparents who cooked directly from the land, the sea and the seasons.
Bread was baked in wood-fired ovens. Fish was grilled over charcoal. Meat cooked slowly over glowing embers. Nothing was rushed, and nothing was wasted.
These memories continue to shape every dish Nico cooks today.
For one special evening, he will bring that story to the table through five fire-led courses, accompanied by matching wines selected by Godot Wines team, long time friends.
Expect charred octopus with ’nduja, Bell River hemp-fed beef, grilled cannelloni with braised beef ragù and smoked scamorza and more cooked through smoke, flame and memory.
