Wholesale Moonshine grew up roasting Australian grown coffee.

It was our first love and a coffee we are very proud of. Today we still use local coffee in all of our café blends, as well as showcasing Single Estates from the plantation. You can find Moonshine Coffee being served in some exceptional locations from the local Northern Rivers of NSW to the city lights of Brisbane. We subscribe to the less is more philosophy, that’s why we hand pick our café partners as carefully as we harvest and roast our coffee.

A little behind the scenes look at how we keep our blends consistent. Every week, Matty gets to work at the table, tasting the latest roasts to catch any subtle changes in the beans before they leave the floor. It takes a bit of extra time, but having him check every batch means we always know we’re sending the absolute best version of Moonshine out the door.

We spend a lot of time in the Billinudgel roastery, however Federal is where the Moonshine story really began. It was our first roastery location turned cafe, and it’s a feeling that’s hard to put into words.. (these photos come pretty close though!!)

It’s the sound of our coffee machine, the morning rush, and a community that shows up for each other every day. We love hearing the giggling kiddos, seeing friends finally catching up, and catching those moments of friends hugging as they walk in. We’re lucky we get to provide the space for all of this to happen.
