Make your way into our north-facing dining space whilst ambient music welcomes you.
Begin your DEGUSTATION EXPERIENCE with a decadent bowl of our famous creamy Tasmanian Cray Fish Bisque with delicate slices of Rabbit Meat. Served with Sourdough Damper Croutons

Then Tender quail, flash-fried for a delicate crunch, dressed in a fragrant aromatic five-spice blend. Served over sautéed seasonal Asian greens and silky rice noodles with a velvety miso reduction and shallot oil

A big, big THANK YOU to the 26 wonderful guests who joined us for this weekend's inaugural 'The Supper Club at Hamlet' 👏👏

Friday and Saturday night was everything Steve and I hoped it would be; a room full of conversation, laughter, new friendships, familiar faces, yummy food and enjoying good company. Well we guess it was a success the bookings came straight in for next month's dates 🙏✨️🫂🫶 **11th July Now SOLD OUT

In changing times it's important that businesses pivot and adapt, and as hosted accom bookings naturally ebb and flow in the off-season, it felt like the perfect time to create a new dining experience where people can meet, greet, eat and a space to socialise and gather 'round the table.

Thank you for supporting us and we can't wait to welcome our next guests with a new yummy menu next month and always a special option for our Vegetarian guests.

Until then, we'll be polishing the silverware, setting tables, and preparing another evening of country hospitality.

This evening and again tomorrow night we'll be welcoming 25 guests to share a leisurely dinner filled with beautiful local food, good company and a little bit of Hamlet Magic.

Not sure either of us quite believes it 😂🫶♥️✨️🙏

This weekend we've been celebrating Farmer Steve .. My best friend, my partner, my husband and the man who's stood beside me through every dream, challenge, success and crazy idea along the way.

Most guests see the Steve (Manuel) that delivers meals, lights and tends fires so suites are warm and cozy, cares for the land and animals, takes guests on Hamlet Farm Tours, fixes all the things, does the hard stuff and makes sure everyone is looked after.

I get to see the Steve who does all that and then comes in from the farm 🚜 and does it all again serving dinner.... and then just quietly slides into the Breakfast Shift 👌 🍳🥓🥞

Since becoming custodians and farm stay hosts of Hamlet in 2021 we've worked hard, laughed a lot, and built a life here that we genuinely love... and we wouldn't change a thing.

It's hard work and we have realised dreams here in Tassie in the last 5 years we wouldnt have thought possible.

Happy Birthday Steve. Thank you for being our greatest supporter, the sounding board of logic and reason, our trojan worker, my business partner and my best friend.

Now let's see what trouble and shenanigans we can get up to in your sixties. 😉🥂❤️
