Inspired by a New Zealand legend

Our Rainbow Warrior flavour is inspired by the famous Greenpeace ship that became a symbol of hope, courage, peace and protecting our oceans.

In 1985, the Rainbow Warrior was in New Zealand standing up against nuclear testing in the Pacific. Its story became part of New Zealand history and reminds us to care for our planet, our oceans and each other.

At The Natural Waffle Ice Cream Parlour, we’ve made the conscious decision to close both of our stores every Tuesday. While this means giving up a day’s trade, it allows our team—and myself as a business owner—the opportunity to rest, recharge, reflect and focus on our health and wellbeing.

We believe that looking after ourselves helps us better look after each other, our customers, and our community. A positive, supportive workplace creates happier people, stronger teams, and better customer experiences.
