The National Hotel has gone to great lengths to ensure that the fit-out for the Bar and Restaurant is in keeping with the incredible heritage and history of the both the building and of the picturesque Port-City of Fremantle itself – encompassing the very best of traditional values and the quality and vibe of modern hospitality. The ground level comprises of a lively bar, themed with original bric
kwork, vintage timber, pressed-tin ceilings and wrought-iron fixtures. It holds a capacity of around 150 persons plus an additional 56-seater Al-fresco area along High Street. The 1st floor comprises of a lounge bar and restaurant with its décor making full-use of the high ceilings and Federation architectural styling. With restored fireplaces, stained-glass embellishments and large French windows, this area oozes charm and character. The 1st floor has a capacity of around 160 persons with an additional 100-seater AL-fresco area on the balconies over-looking High Street and Market Street. There are 30 taps of draught beer, featuring top Australian and International brands as well as a selection of craft-brewed favourites. Both bars offer a wide selection of bottled beers, ciders and wines from WA, Australia, New Zealand and other top-producing Nations. Customers can also enjoy the finest, freshly built and mixed classic and contemporary cocktails. Food will be prepared in a modern-Australian style, together with a touch of Asian flair, using fresh, seasonal ingredients. The National Hotel is a fun, exciting and welcoming place to frequent and offers something for everyone – all day dining, an extensive beverage and cocktail list, great al-fresco areas for those lazy afternoons and varied entertainment; ranging from sports screenings to live and DJ’d music.
