Talitha and Lauren from Latrobe Community Health Service have kindly offered to support the seniors of Glengarry and surrounding communities to stay active, strong, connected, and independent.

The aim of this free program is to help older people remain in their own homes for longer, stay engaged in their local community, maintain their independence, and continue living active and fulfilling lives.

They’ll be visiting on Thursday 25 June to answer any questions you may have and explain exactly what the program involves. If you’d like to learn more about the support available, we’d love to see you there.

Breathwork at The Platform with Healing with Shell 💌❤️‍🩹

I thought I’d take a minute to answer the most FAQ I get at the Platform in regard to the incredible breathwork sessions that Shell runs.

What is breathwork?
Breathwork is a guided practice that uses conscious, connected breathing techniques to influence the nervous system, increase oxygen flow throughout the body, and promote physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. It can help reduce stress, improve emotional regulation, increase self-awareness, and create a deeper sense of relaxation and connection.

How many people attend?
We keep sessions intimate, with typically 6–7 people attending.

Cost per session?
$44

How long is the session?
1.5 hours of pure bliss dedicated entirely to you.

Can anyone come?
Absolutely! Whether you’re completely new to breathwork or have attended before, everyone is welcome.

How often is it on?
Usually once per month.

If you’ve been curious about trying breathwork, this is a beautiful opportunity to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and experience the power of your breath in a safe and supportive environment.
