Born from improvisation and shaped by an instinct for sonic adventure, Byron Bay's Minkys are heading south for Dark M**o and making a special stop at Brewlab before their Hobart performance at Moda on Sunday.

Minkys navigate a world where jazz breathes beneath tropical atmospheres and hypnotic grooves pull you deeper with every bar. Rich melodies, immersive textures and deep rhythmic pockets combine to create a live experience that is expressive, daring and always in motion.

Fronted by Diego Trigo's soaring saxophone work and driven by the shimmering synth landscapes of Oliver Gwilym, the musicality of Thom Michell on drums and the hypnotic low-end grooves of Adrian Van Lieshout, Minkys create a sound that is uniquely their own.

Special guest DJ Buff Raku will be keeping the vibes flowing between sets and into the evening.

Come early, grab a beer and settle in for a journey through psychatropical jazz, rich melodies and hypnotic grooves.
