THIS... THIS LEGO VAN. 💛
You'll always find this little LEGO van sitting proudly on our counter... always.
Yesterday, our beautiful daughter, Mia, turned 8. 🎂
Out of all the LEGO sets she could have chosen; she picked this little ice cream van. She built it with so much love and proudly announced that it belonged in . So that's exactly where it has stayed ever since.
What we never imagined was that this would become part of so many families' visits. It has distracted little ones through tears, given parents a few precious moments of peace, and sparked countless little conversations and smiles.
Not long ago, I asked Mia,
"What if one of the little kids accidentally breaks it one day?"
Without even thinking, she smiled and said,
"That's okay... they're little. I'll just build it again."
In that moment, I realised she wasn't just talking about LEGO. She was showing the kind of heart every parent quietly hopes their child grows up to have.
Sometimes, the smallest creations really do come from the biggest hearts. 💛
If I'm being completely honest, I know these LEGO days won't last forever. Her tiny hands that built this van will grow bigger; her interests will change.
But TODAY, this van is proudly displayed at the counter. If you haven't noticed it yet, next time you visit, please stop for a moment and admire this little creation. It means far more to us than you'll ever know. 😊
