This is the first Gesha we've ever roasted.

We wanted to pour something special to celebrate opening our cafe and this does not disappoint 🤩

Gesha is a variety of coffee that originated in the Gori Gesha forest in Ethiopia before making its way to Central & South America.

Known for its unique flavor profile of floral and sweet notes, it garnered notoriety after winning the 'Best Of Panama' in 2004. Since then demand has exploded, leading to scarcity & record prices.

This natural processed Gesha from Luis Calderon in Colombia shows notes of delicate floral aromatics, port, morello cherry, fresh passionfruit & bright caramels.

Did you know that we run two blends for espresso?

Morning Mantra is our house. Silky smooth with notes of sweet caramels & stone fruits.

Midnight Mass is also available by reqest. Slightly darker by roast degree, it's more full bodied with notes of rum & raisin, fruit mince & cocoa.

This natural process Ethiopian from Tore Badiya is a recent arrival & has been on pour as filter & espresso all week.

It absolutely slaps as both espresso, filter & milky with classic confectionery, fruit & chocolate notes😍

What makes a venue an institution?

Tenure? Quantity & frequency of good times? Quality of goods & service?

Whatever the determining factor, we're stoked to work with so many.

How do you approach making your coffee?

Are you as cool as a cucumber, refining your recipe with every brew? Or are you a caffeine cowboy, racing through the process without a second thought?

When we spotted this gelato in the freezer, we knew we weren't leaving without it.

It's vibrant black currant flavour is the same as what we've been showcasing in our Kenyan AA, which Poolish have been running on batch brew.

Is it just a coincidence? The magic of seasonal produce? Perhaps it's a combination of both 🤝🏼
