Tidal creeks burrowed deep into ancient mud – where crocodiles move silently through the shallows and fish come to lay their eggs in one of nature’s most extraordinary marine nurseries. These are some of the most pristine, untouched waters in Australia – rich, wild, and teeming with life.

Meet our local Fishermen from Hinchinbrook. We are proud of our Fishermen and women, their stories and their respect for the water and their catch. Our Fishermen are Accredited Master Fishermen which basically means they are of the highest standing and have met international standards of Best Practice. Peter, Andrew, James, John — before they were anything else, they were net fishers. It was and still is skilled, respected, essential work. We need to feed our community fresh sustainable local fish !
