Dear lovely and lively customers of Passionate Palate,

We are delighted to introduce ourselves as the new owners of your beloved café, Passionate Palate. We officially took over on Saturday, 4th July 2026, and we can’t wait to announce it properly as soon as we gain access to the page. This marks a wonderful new beginning in both our career and our lives. We look forward to serving you with the same love, warmth, and quality you’ve always enjoyed.

Karen has left us with a truly high benchmark, and we are confident we can reach it with the dedication and passion of our wonderful staff — Fay, Bec, Erin, Chey, Ashleigh, Donna, Sai, Ashleigh King, and Mia.

Karen has poured her heart into this café for many years, raising it to a level we deeply respect. We promise that her hard work will not go to waste. Thank you for your continued support, and we kindly ask for your patience as we navigate the early challenges of this new beginning.

Our warmest wishes go to Karen as she begins her next adventure. May she enjoy great health, plenty of rest, and all the happiness she deserves. Thank you for being part of this journey with us — we look forward to meeting you in person at the café soon.

It is with some sadness and some excitement that after 15 years running my own business and 11.5 of which were here in Forest grove, I have decided to sell.

I have loved my time here, meeting so many lovely people and forming many friendships.

I’d like to thank everyone for their support over the years, thank my staff for all their hard work and thank my family for sticking with me on this journey.

My last day will be Tuesday 30th June, please come in and see me if you have time before I finish up.

I have pleasure in passing the reins to new owners Shaz and May. Please welcome and support them as you have done me. The staff are staying so you will still see the same happy faces.
