I often find myself thinking that I have the best job in the world.

Not because of the events we create, or the music we share—but because of the moments you could never plan.

We get to bring people together through music, art, culture, and community. We open the doors, and somehow the universe does the rest.

Aryose wanders in late one Friday whilst getting his driving hours up. Borrows a guitar and begins to play.

The room fell silent.

Conversations stopped. Time seemed to pause. Every note carried something so honest, so raw, that we were all completely captivated. It wasn’t just talent—it was soul. The kind that can’t be taught…

Every Friday, I catch myself saying, “It can’t possibly get any better than this.”

And every Friday, life gently smiles and proves me wrong.

These are the moments that remind me why this place exists. Not just as a venue, but as a home for unexpected beauty, for connection, and for the kind of magic that appears when people are simply given the space to be themselves.

My heart is so full.

Every Friday night from 6 🙌

What a wonderful reminder of the power of community and connection.
On Friday night, we were delighted to welcome Cosi through our doors. His visit was a lovely surprise, but it also highlighted something we see time and time again—you never know who you’re going to meet when a community comes together.
From local heroes and talented performers to travellers from across the country and beyond, people from all walks of life gather here for the same reason: connection. They sense that this beautiful historic building is more than just bricks and mortar. It’s a place where stories are shared, friendships are formed, and community thrives.
In a world where genuine human connection can sometimes feel rare, spaces that bring people together are more important than ever. They remind us that we all belong to something bigger than ourselves. They create opportunities to celebrate local talent, support one another, and showcase the very best of South Australia.
Cosi’s visit was a wonderful reminder of what makes our state so special—not just our incredible places, but our people. The conversations, the laughter, the shared experiences, and the pride we have in our community.
Let’s continue to celebrate our local heroes, support our regional communities, and create places where everyone feels welcome. Because the true strength of any community lies in its ability to bring people together.
South Australia shines brightest when we connect. Thankyou - South Aussie with Cosi we look forward to seeing you again soon 👏

Supporting local businesses and building strong communities is something I’m passionate about.
Last week, I had the pleasure of meeting Bella, founder of Magnolia Tea House , at our monthly meeting where she was our guest speaker. I was so inspired by her story, passion, and beautiful tea blends that I knew I had to share them.
Today, at our meeting, I chose three tea flavours for Britannia. Thank you, Bella, for bringing such wonderful local products to our community.
I’m committed to keeping it local wherever possible. If you have a local product, business, or service that you think I should know about and support, please reach out. You may have something wonderful that I haven’t discovered yet.
