In this week's episode of what services can go wrong, we have a telstra outage today that is affecting many phone orders to the shop.
This follows on from a copper theft from the nbn node a fortnight ago and last week's blackout caused by a truck backing into the telegraph pole.

All services restored.
TELSTRA UPDATE (1:00PM): “We continue to make good progress restoring services. If you are still experiencing issues, we recommend restarting your phone rather than just switching on airplane mode.
We will share another update once all services are back online.”
UPDATE (9:45AM) Telstra have made good progress restoring this morning's issue affecting some mobile services, with just under 90% of calls and data now flowing successfully across the network.
INITIAL REPORT
Telstra is currently experiencing outages affecting some customers.
According to Telstra's outage page, there is an issue impacting some non and Digital Office Technology (DOT) services nationally, causing loss of voice and data services'.
Reports of outages have been widespread. The outage is affecting mobile calls and mobile data, with many users reporting their phones displaying "SOS Only" or being unable to access the internet. Customers of providers that use the Telstra network, including Belong, ALDImobile and others, may also be impacted.
Telstra has confirmed it is investigating the issue and has advised customers experiencing problems to try
reconnecting, as services may work on a retry while crews work to restore normal operations.
There is currently no estimated time for full restoration. We'll provide an update when Telstra releases further information.
