Malaycious will be closing for good on 29 December 2025…

Many of you already know what happened around this time last year. Despite our best efforts, we haven’t been able to recover, and we’ve reached the point where continuing just isn’t possible. The person involved has since returned to Malaysia and is avoiding repayment and police matters, and we’ve been left to carry the consequences.

But we don’t want this message to be all heavy. From September 2020 until now, you’ve given us five years of memories we’ll never forget. Staff, customers, regulars who turned into friends, you’ve been the heart of this place, and we are truly grateful. ☺️💖

We’ll continue operating as normal until our final day, 29 Dec 2025.

Summer is getting busy, so please make a booking if you plan to visit before we say goodbye.

We’re taking a little breather~ will be closed on coming Monday (3/11 public holiday) and Tuesday as usual 💆‍♀️ Back on Wed!

But mind you… something unexpectedly delicious is brewing. We accidentally ordered the wrong cut from our supplier (Chef’s excuse to sneak in his favourite comfort dish 👨‍🍳), and it turned into one of his personal favourites: Red Wine Beef Short Ribs Stew.

Slow-braised till buttery soft, rich with red wine, homemade veggie stock and herbs, then served with steamed rice to soak up every drop of that deep, velvety sauce.

Finished with our homemade sweet-savoury sauce and a sprinkle of sesame seeds. Ask any Malaysian what warms the soul, and they’ll say Bak K*t Teh! It’s literally translated to “meat bone tea” (don’t worry, no actual tea inside).

It’s a slow-brewed herbal broth, rich and comforting, the kind of dish families gather around on a rainy day.

Ours comes with pork belly, bak choy, tofu puffs, youtiao, and a bowl of steamed rice on the side. 🍲
