❤️ A little favour to ask today…

Today’s menu is just a little smaller than usual.

Alan and I are heading to Brisbane to say goodbye to our beautiful daughter, Kenzi, as she flies to Scotland to start the adventure of a lifetime. 🇦🇺✈️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Many of you will know Kenzi from her 18 months working at The Linville Hotel, and we’re so proud of everything she’s about to do.

While we’re away, our amazing team are holding down the fort. We also have a lovely new cook in the kitchen, so we’ve simplified today’s menu to help everything run smoothly.

If you’re visiting us today, we’d really appreciate a little extra patience and kindness while the team look after you. ❤️

Not all our customers arrive by car or bike…🐴☕

Today we had these lovely ladies and gentleman stop in on horseback, tie their horses up out the front, enjoy a coffee, and before riding off one of them waved and said…

“That was the best cappuccino I’ve had in a long time.”

Moments like this are why we love what we do.

Whether you’re travelling by horse, bike, motorcycle, foot or car, there’s always a warm welcome waiting for you (and yes… we usually have a few carrots for your four-legged mate too! 🥕).

❤️ A weekend worth celebrating ❤️

This weekend, one of our wonderful locals celebrated his 60th birthday by bringing the family home to Linville.

Saturday night was spent enjoying dinner at the Linville Hotel, they stayed just down the road at Montrose in Moore, and Sunday morning everyone gathered with us for breakfast.

We absolutely love seeing locals proudly showing off their hometown and supporting the small businesses that make our little communities so special. It was wonderful to see three local businesses helping create a weekend full of memories for one special family.

Happy 60th Viv🥂 Thank you for choosing to celebrate with us—we hope it was a weekend you’ll all remember for years to come.

2,000+ km from Linville… ❤️

Who would have thought something we make in our little country café would end up over 2,000 km away in South Australia?

Thank you to our lovely local customer Angie for sending this to us. Angie took more than a few cakes 😉 to share with her family in SA.

This one is very special for us. We spent 10 wonderful years calling South Australia home before life brought us to beautiful Linville. Seeing our Cakes in a Can make the journey back there feels like our old home meeting our new one.

Every can that leaves our café carries a little piece of Linville with it, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Our furry friends from Ottaba Llamas are back in Linville tomorrow (Tuesday 7th July) for the final llama walks of the school holidays!
