This week Brad and I had the opportunity to visit our partner roasters, Evolve North in Shepparton, to learn more about what goes into creating exceptional coffee.
From green bean selection right through to the final roast, we were taken through every step of the roasting process. It was incredible to see the level of precision, passion and science involved in bringing out the best in every bean.
What impressed us most wasn't just the roasting process itself, but the incredible attention to detail that goes into every single batch. Coffee is constantly cupped, tasted and assessed throughout production to ensure consistency, balance and quality.
What also stood out was Evolve North's commitment to sustainability. Their state-of-the-art solar-powered roastery has been designed to minimise its environmental footprint, and their roasting system features an advanced afterburner that eliminates smoke, unpleasant odors, and volatile organic compounds before they're released into the atmosphere.
