The weather today needs a good talking to, it’s a bloody mongrel mate! ☔️

We can’t let Bastille Day 14 July go past without cooking up some..

Not everything is about food at 8th Sense…well not quite! 🤭
A community post for you.
We have the bestest children and families living amongst us on these very islands. 🏝️
Many children, grown ups, babies, humans, dogs, & community groups love using the 8th sense lawns (we like the term The Village Green), for gatherings, relaxing, or meet ups.

Children are full of creativity.
Recently, some children held a lemonade stand on the 8th Sense lawns (made with lemons grown in their garden). 🍋
A group of young friends ran a ‘Photo Booth’ last weekend. They busily painted portraits behind the photo lens, and slipped the finished ‘photo’ through the shoot for the happy recipient! 🖼️
With much love in their hearts, and a joy for sharing, they gave their ‘earnings’ to invest in more chalk and other possible safe toys for the community children to use on ‘The Village Green’ next to 8th Sense.
This generosity means the world to us here at 8th Sense. ❤️
Thank you children! The new chalk, YOUR chalk, is coming soon!

We try our best to keep this space clean and tidy. We also have provided quite a few items which have sadly broken with mis-use.
So with the wisdom and creativity of the young children, and the passion to create this ‘village green’ space to be truly a community space, we can’t wait to share the exciting new chapter of this space with you….
Our community has been gifted the sensational fairy lights in the tree to enjoy, and a safe space for all. And there’ll be more for our community to share..can’t wait!

I love a cosy Sunday vibe.
Our coffee frappé is back for school holidays!
As addictive as they are, I recommend only 1 per day… coffee lovers, for you! Add your choice of gelato, and it’s the best!

Plus, our new heartwarming pastry of the day - crunchy loaded apple & rhubarb crumble croissant with crème patissiere.
