Held every month on the 3rd Saturday, from 7.30am until 12.00pm in the Malanda Showgrounds

Well that month went by so quickly!!! Hopefully the weather will hold out for us and we can finally have a dry market. Any one wanting a casual site please contact me 0439702657. Permanent stall holders please let me know as soon as possible if you are not attending. All market areas are smoke free. Regards Ronny

Due to the amount of rain we’ve been having it was decided to cancel this month’s Malanda market. The grounds at Jack May Park will not dry out enough by Saturday to allow stall holders to drive on it. Here’s hoping for better weather next month 🤨. Regards Ronny

Due to our Malanda markets being held at Jack May Park on Saturday and the inclement weather conditions casual sites will not be given out until Wednesday evening. A decision will be made as to the state of the grounds. Regards Ronny

Malanda markets are on in the Showgrounds on Saturday and stall holders are requested to be careful when driving to sites as there is a beef handling school on as well. Please drive carefully.

The Lions Club had their business meeting tonight with special guest speaker Tom Braes from the Mareeba Club. He presented Graham King with the Inter club bowling cup which Malanda Lions won. Apparently Graham is a top notch bowler. Tom imparted a great deal of information on different aspects of how Lions work.
We are immensely proud of our local Lions of the year entrant Amelie who will be participating in the national title. We wish her the very best of luck.
We have launched another raffle with the main prize being $4000. Tickets are $100 and are available at the markets.

Well it looks like the weather has changed for the better for our market tomorrow. As we had to cancel the market last month because of the atrocious weather we had been having it will be great to see everyone again. Please make it a happy market and be nice to all.
