I was so excited when this showgirl hatched and wasn’t a dark blue. I had been only getting dark blues from my black and blue parents. I gave my boy a light blue girl and they gave me this cutie 😍 so excited to watch it feather out. Can you imagine a splash naked neck?!!! 🤗🙏🏻🤞🏻

One of my black girls are laying me some pretty speckled eggs. She has just started laying again after quite a while being broody and then raising some chicks. The speckles are very distinct now but once she’s been laying for a while again they will slowly fade in intensity.

Side note- I’m super proud of these guys and how quick they took to using it when they first moved in. Silkies can be hesitant, but not these guys.
