The MBC Foods van is 7½ years old and continues to operate successfully. It has served a wide range of delicious food. This Spitfire caravan was newly constructed in Melbourne and arrived in Adelaide on a truck in 2019. Its inaugural assignment was the Harry Butler 100th anniversary in Minlaton.

The van primarily serves seafood at fairs and shows and has also been a valuable asset for catering at other events, particularly wedding receptions, where it provides a retro atmosphere.

Supporting Each Other on the Yorke Peninsula 💛

Times are a little quiet on the Yorke Peninsula right now, and local businesses are feeling it. That's exactly why we want to take a moment to shine a light on one of the wonderful community hubs that keeps our region ticking — the Ardrossan Museum And Information Centre, located at 14 Fifth Street, Ardrossan.

Run by a dedicated team of local volunteers, the Information Centre is open seven days a week and is so much more than a tourist stop. It's a welcoming gateway to everything the Yorke Peninsula has to offer — packed with local knowledge, souvenirs, arts and crafts, and a warm smile to greet every visitor.

Right next door, the Ardrossan Heritage Museum tells the remarkable story of this region, from the invention of the iconic Stump Jump Plough to the maritime history of the Yorke Peninsula coast. If you haven't been, it's well worth a visit — and if you have, why not take a friend or family member along?
