💕 31 years ago today... Sonia cooked one dinner that changed everything!

For their very first date, Sonia served Chris her homemade Spinach & Ricotta Cannelloni. It clearly did the trick... because 31 years later, he's still hanging around! 😜

Whether it was love at first bite or Chris simply realised he'd never have to cook again, we'll let you decide. 😉

Fast forward 31 years and they've built not only Gourmet Guru Catering, but also an incredible life together, raising two amazing children, creating thousands of delicious meals, surviving the catering chaos, and making memories that will last a lifetime. Chris is still Sonia's biggest fan (especially when she's's in the kitchen!).

Here's to 31 years of love, laughter, family, amazing food, and one very successful first-date menu. ❤️🥂

Last week, our team had the privilege of catering a beautiful Celebration of Life for a much-loved member of the local community at New Hope Baptist Church in Blackburn North.

With more than 400 mourners gathering to honour and remember a remarkable life, we created two elegant grazing tables overflowing with fresh, chef-made delights, alongside a selection of hot finger food served throughout the afternoon.

It was an honour to play a small part in bringing family and friends together at such a meaningful event. We understand that during times like these, the last thing families should have to worry about is the catering. Our experienced team takes care of every detail, allowing loved ones to focus on what truly matters—celebrating a life well lived.

Last week we supplied these delicious Japanese Teriyaki Beef Poke Bowls for an all-day event at The Austin Hospital, providing attendees with a healthy, satisfying lunch option that was as good looking as it was delicious.
