Vincent, our esteemed Barista at Parlance, has achieved yet another remarkable milestone in his coffee craftsmanship, securing a coveted spot among the Top 10 coffee roasters of 2024 in Australia.
In the intense arena of the 2024 ASCA Coffee Roasting Championship, competitors face challenges that scrutinise their skills across multiple rounds, including coffee grading, profile development, and achieving the pinnacle of cup quality.

Vincent's journey in the competition concluded three weeks ago. His unwavering dedication and expertise were evident as he showcased his skills in green bean grading—distinguishing defects, checking moisture levels, and evaluating the density of the green bean.
His mastery extended to sample roasting, cupping from sample roasts (meticulously noting tasting nuances), and creating a roast plan that encompasses start and end temperatures, moisture levels, and color readings for the coffee grounds. Additionally, Vincent demonstrated his prowess in production roasting.
