Morena Koutou......
Had to put this up as something has been troubling me since yesterday!

Two ladies came in, ordered a Muttonbird & Puha Boilup and a Whitebaite Fritter Meal with a Paua Fritter on the side....
For ones that have come into the Cafe you know, when you get a Boilup you get:
Muttonbird, Puha, Spud, Kamokamo, Pumpkin, Kumara & 2 Frybreads.
Whitebaite Meal:
3 Large Fritters (No matter what Fritters asked for) Chips, Salad, Eggs, Lemon & Sour Cream.
I think those are a really good serving to eat in, and for cost.

To cut a long story short
- only the Muttonbird & Frybread were eaten
- only the Fritters were eaten/taken
But this is what got me when told by staff what was said out loud:
Why would i pay for puha when its free!!!!!!
Im not going to disrespect these ladies, but i will say, you are not forced to come into the Cafe.

I totally understand that we are not going to please everyone, and Kai Te Pai, but please keep in mind, that we take pride in being able to provide this service, and presentation.

There are every other ethic cultures that are out there with shops, cafes serving their food, as far as i know, this is the only shop in Victoria that allows us to bring our Kai out of our homes, to sit in a relaxed atmosphere and be served straight from cooking, for anyone and everyone to enjoy.
