Hello loves,
Due to the sudden and heartbreaking passing of Emma on the 4th March 2022, CbC is now officially permanently closed for business.
Consumed by Cake had been put on pause for the past couple of years mainly due to Covid as well personal reasons for both Emma and I. We were still debating on when to kick things back off again but sadly, without Emma CbC just isn't the same.
This business was her baby, and she loved being able to make beautiful cakes for everyone, especially her family and friends. It brought her so much joy, as well as stress, as she wanted to make every cake perfect to ensure her client was excited and happy to see the end result. Em put so much love into every piece she planned and made so I hope everyone who ever bought from us knows just how much care and effort went into her work.
I wish we had had more time to grow CbC, to have been able to create more gorgeous cakes and have had fun while doing it, but with Em's passing it feels right to close CbC now.
I hope you all understand, thank you for all your trust in the past as it was so appreciated as a small business to be given the chance to create your special cake for you.

Always a joy to create a wedding cake at CbC, this beauty was a semi naked white choc/raspberry with a chocolate drip. Native flowers from Flōs. Botanical Studio & topper by Sugar Boo made this cake complete for our lovely bride - thank you Nicole Dwyer and hope you both loved it!
