I had whipped up a two course lunch for the community. The community friends, Minister for Social Services The Hon Amanda Rishworth MP, Julie-Ann Campbell, Mark Bailey MP and last but not least Councillor Nicole Johnston, joined us for an afternoon of great food and company in an effort to highlight and overcome social isolation. Thanks to all the volunteers who lent a hand. It was a great get together with the attendees. Love to seeing in our coming event in December.

Hi my dear friends,

It’s some harder time’s we are all going through at the moment and we are all feeling the pinch differently. A lot of people have different situations to varying degrees and sometimes we should all help out a bit where we can. Cooking has been my passion and brought me so much joy over the years, I would love nothing more than using that for others. With that in mind I have reached out to the Sherwood Neighbourhood Centre Inc.@38 Thallon Street, Sherwood) to give my time to provide some meals for anyone that needs it during the school holidays. I am reaching out for anyone willing to help through donation of ingredients, your time or anything you can think of; we can be creative. My goal is to keep this an ongoing thing and see where we can take it and what difference we can make together.
