We’re currently hiring for:
• Front of House
• Line Cook
• Café All Rounder

If you love hospitality, thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working as part of a great team, we’d love to hear from you.

Experience is a bonus, but not essential — we’re happy to train the right people. What matters most to us is a positive attitude, reliability and a genuine love for great customer service.

Weekend availability is a must.

Soup & a Story 🤍

Our Chuck Wagon Chowder isn’t just a special — it’s family history.

Nana Edith first made this recipe for her new husband Lindsay (Pa) in 1955. In 2021, she sent us her handwritten recipe when we first took over the café, and we’ve loved sharing it with you ever since.

Edith has since passed, but her soup — shared through generations of the Kidd family — lives on.
And we feel pretty lucky to be able to serve a little piece of her story here at Grumpy’s.

Manager Meg is onto her next chapter! 💕

Meggan is a Grumpy’s OG! She has worked here on and off since the original owners opened the cafe 12 years ago!

Since then she’s
❤️ Become a qualified vet nurse
❤️ Bought a home
❤️ Had two beautiful children
❤️ Got Married

Now it’s time for her to return to her passion of vet nursing! 🐾

We wish her nothing but the best of luck in her future career and we cannot thank her enough for all she’s done for our cafe and family! 💕

She will be missed but she’ll still pop her head in for a celebrity shift every now and then!
