While the Socceroos’ World Cup journey has come to an end, what an incredible ride it has been. 💚💛

This morning’s result wasn’t what we were hoping for, but that’s sport. Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn, and you always come back stronger.

What stood out most for us wasn’t just the soccer—it was seeing our community come together. Friends, families, neighbours and visitors gathered at The Watering Hole Tavern to cheer, celebrate, hold their breath through every tense moment, and support our national team together.

That’s what community is all about.

Thank you to everyone who joined us over the past few weeks. Your energy, laughter and passion created an atmosphere we’ll never forget.

The Socceroos may be out, but the memories we have made together are just the beginning. There are plenty more sporting moments, celebrations and community events to come, and we can’t wait to share them with you.

When you buy a home or a commercial building, you expect there will be a few unexpected surprises along the way.

The Watering Hole Tavern certainly hasn’t disappointed! 😅

From discovering a domestic hot water system that needed replacing with a commercial one, to plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, arborist work and everything in between, there’s been no shortage of unexpected projects since we took the keys.

But what has amazed us most isn’t the maintenance list—it’s our community.

To every electrician (Commlec Services), plumber (Kyle Muller and Luna Plumbing), arborist, refrigeration mechanic, tradesperson and local business who has answered our calls (including urgent wood restock), offered advice, squeezed us into busy schedules or simply checked in to see how we’re going… thank you.

You’re helping us build more than a tavern. You’re helping us create a place our community can be proud of.

We still have plenty of projects ahead, but we’re excited about what’s to come and incredibly grateful to have such a supportive community behind us.

From all of us at The Watering Hole Tavern… thank you for being part of the journey. ❤️
