County Dining

County Dining County is relaxed and casual dining. A clear focus on local, organic and sustainable produce will be evident on the regularly changing menu.

A large and diverse wine by the glass list will also change to reflect the dishes available. We are not tied to a particular cuisine style and can simply utilise the produce that is available to us from our own garden and our chosen suppliers in the best way to showcase the natural flavours of the ingredient. Our diners can expect classic regional dishes and known flavour combinations, presented w

ith care and precision, plus a little bit of old fashioned love and hospitality. County will be open for dinner Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and lunch Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

It's difficult to read this. We are so very proud of our little team for getting this cracking review, but very sad we couldn't make County work in Morpeth. If nothing else, it reminds us that we did our best everyday, and that most people enjoyed what we put out into the world. Perhaps it will help light the fire in our bellies to get County happening again...

Thank you to everyone who supported us while we were trading. We miss you all so very much ❤️

Not much time left to enjoy Jamie's delicious food. His black pudding, scratchings, romesco, chorizo vinaigrette dish has been wowing guests this week. But then again, so have the Harvey Bay scallops, and the Little Hill Farm chicken ballottine, and the pomegranate glazed lamb belly...... Actually, it's all good!
