FNQ BUSINESSES BEWARE OF THIS CONMAN

This is JOE, with a Northern England accent, (Manchester). His surname begins with C, but we have decided to withhold that.

Posts of this nature are not something that we like to do, but in the interests of other small businesses, we feel we must support the Region.

Our phone shop went 'above and beyond' to try and fix this conman's phone after he got it wet.

He came back to collect the phone and SIM card, which could not be repaired and claimed that he would get some cash, to pay, from the ATM.... he took his phone and didn't return.

We had his room number at a Port Douglas resort, so spoke to him twice and on both occasions he said he would pop into pay.... he didn't.

We visited the Resort and not surprisingly, he had left that day.

We gained his email address, emailed an invoice but alas have received nothing for our effort.

He may well still be in the area?

SMARTPHONE & TABLET SOLUTIONS have been servicing the Douglas Shire and surrounding areas for the past 5 years. We are a busy and growing business that now requires an extra staff member for 1-2 days a week initially, with room to expand moving forward.
We are looking for a reliable, skilled and customer-focused Mobile Phone Repair Technician OR somebody with a similar technical background.
In this role, you’ll mainly be handling device repairs, but you’ll also support customers with product sales and service enquiries.
Training will be provided as required.
