We’ll be open our usual trading hours this ANZAC Day, 6am – 2pm.

Pop in for a coffee after the dawn service, or swing by after the parade as it passes right by us.

We’ll also have fresh ANZAC cookies available, with $2 from every cookie sold going directly to Legacy— an organisation that supports families of veterans, and one that means a lot to us here at The Butcher Shop Cafe.

MEET THE TEAM 👇

🔧 SHANE– The Fixer
Joint owner of The Butcher Shop Cafe and our go-to guy when literally anything goes wrong. By day he’s a tiler (Monday–Friday), but on weekends you’ll find him jumping in wherever needed — kitchen, front of house, all stations covered.
Leaky tap? Printer having a meltdown? That’s Shane’s department.
Also the ultimate hype guy — always bringing the energy and going the extra mile to get to know our customers. Go Shane! 🙌

🏐 Abi – Weekend MVP
Abi’s been part of the cafe longer than most, starting with the previous owners and sticking with us ever since. Whether it’s the fast pace of a coffee rush on the weekend or a netball game, she can handle it — hence the name “Weekend MVP”. You’ll also spot her starring in the Butcher Shop Cafe All Stars netball team. 💪

She’s confident across all stations, shows loyalty, gets the job done, and is a reliable part of the team week in, week out. We’re lucky to have her! Go Abi! 🙌
