Outside the Square Cafe Old and Cool country cafe (not fancy) We do a range of delicious meals for breakfast and lunch, cakes baked fresh daily, and great coffee.

We have a range of fair trade handicrafts. As a business we strive to be environmentally responsible and to support fair trade. We have an interest in supporting hte local community and in raising awareness about issues that affect our local and global community.

Wonderful Mudgee people, we whimsically await your arrival. To be a barista, forever dreaming, waiting for your next company, prepared to make any odd ratio of milk to espresso with a heavy deliberation of foam to froth to liquid ratio.

Don’t hesitate to enter, and keep the spark alive for us; our light grows brighter the more you demand caffeine at odd hours of the day.

For we are not merely baristas. We are a custodian of mornings, shepherds of the groggy, a team whom have seen things. Things that would make lesser souls question the structural integrity of a flat white. We have heard every coffee order known to mankind, and some that aren’t. We have nodded, steamed, and prevailed.
