Reef, Rainforest & Outback....
Its all here!
Just to the right of us we have the great barrier reef, to the north we have rainforest and to the west we have outback, and less than an hour in each direction. We have Tropical Island resorts, beachside backpacker motels, even beachside Caravan Parks, and some of the best free camping sites all the way up to the Daintree Rainforest, and beyond.
The weather is unmatchable, and from Easter until around December when it starts getting too tropical for southerners, we are inundated with folks wanting to escape the cold and grey to be embraced by some sunshine, and blues and greens that are unmatched anywhere else in the country.
History, culture, innovation, and sheer determination abound in North Queensland... and we aren't shy about saying so... here are some of the attractions that warrant a visit when you get here.

They can look weird, be hard to get into, and taste not like we are used to, but some of our humble little fruits have big futures healing people and just giving them nutrition that cant be gotten in a packet or from a factory.
Have a browse, there is so much we haven't learned... that has been known by the native cultures that cultivated and embraced these fruits.
We only scratch the surface here, but hope your curiosity finds you looking for more information about the wonders of some of the worlds tropical fruits.
