If someone comes to mind, take a moment to nominate them, they deserved to be recognised!
Every community has its unsung heroes β the people who quietly make Newport a better place through kindness, generosity and service to others.
Maybe they:
β€οΈ Volunteer at a local sporting club or community group
β€οΈ Check in on elderly neighbours or lend a helping hand
β€οΈ Help bring in bins, mow lawns or support others without being asked
β€οΈ Organise community activities or fundraising events
β€οΈ Go out of their way to make someoneβs day a little brighter

ππ¨πππ₯ πππ ππ§ππ¬ is a new Visit Newport initiative celebrating the people making a positive difference in our community.
Each month, the Newport Traders Association will select one Local Legend to receive $250 in vouchers to spend at participating Newport businesses of their choice.

Nominees can be any age
β
They don't need to live in Newport, but their act of kindness, volunteering or community contribution must have made a difference in Newport

You can nominate as many people as you like
π£ A winner will be decided on the final day of each month and announced the following week.
