🥨 SWEET OR SAVOURY PRETZELS 🥨 These delicious pretzels are available for takeaway. They come with an array of different sauces such as German Mustard, Salted Caramel or a Choc Ganache.

We know everyone is waiting on an opening date, and we are doing the best that we can. But in the meantime we have some more good news. As of next week we will be open SATURDAY and SUNDAY 8:00AM - 3:00PM. Just in time for Spring road trips to the hills ☀️

The Cuckoo is coming back!
Some of you may have noticed that lately we have been open for takeaway coffee and breaky rolls, and we're glad to say we'll be keeping that going while we're working on the bigger plans.

At the moment we're very much in the planning stage of a redevelopment that will honour the history and tradition of the iconic Cuckoo Restaurant, while bringing the kind of modern functionality needed to operate in these times.

We're super excited that we not only get to be a part of the legacy of this amazing local institution, but that we also get to bring new life into such a beloved local icon.

Thankyou everyone for your condolences for Karin Koeppen the owner of The Cuckoo Restaurant for 62 years. She was an amazing kind hearted soul.
The business has been sold and will hopefully reopen towards the end of the year. Stay tuned.

The Cuckoo is now open for weekends!

Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11:30am - 9:30pm, the Cuckoo Restaurant is offering a delicious selection of set menus to suit any budget. Whether you are looking for simple faire or to try a delicious array of German favourites we have something to suit you.

All of our meal options are complimented beautifully by our selection of German beers on tap, if you want to try your options we recommend a beer paddle for just $10 where you can sample four of our beers.

Bookings are recommended - and we definitely suggest ordering your set menu in advance so you don't miss out.
