Ever stood at the coffee counter wondering whether to order a piccolo or a macchiato? You’re not alone ☕️
A piccolo is like a mini latte — a single ristretto shot topped up with silky steamed milk in a small glass. It’s smooth, milky, and slightly stronger than it tastes.
A macchiato (traditional style) is a bold espresso “marked” with just a dash of milk or foam. It’s all about the coffee punch with a hint of softness.
Same coffee family, very different personalities — one creamy and gentle, the other short, sharp, and strong.

☕ Short Black / Espresso – 100% coffee, no milk
☕ Flat White – 1 part espresso to ~3 parts silky milk
☕ Latte – 1 part espresso to ~4–5 parts milk (extra creamy)
