“Samgye-tto”

Cheol’s New Special created by Chef Jihno.
A Korean-Italian inspired dish, born from Korea’s beloved nourishing chicken soup (Samgyetang). A hearty and wholesome dish, made for the cold.

slow-simmered broth with risotto, tender chicken breast, enoki mushroom and a vibrant spinach purée.

Two years goes fast when you’re surrounded by the right people.

Taylor has been part of Cheol’s from the very beginning at 16 Victoria Avenue, and honestly she’s been one of the biggest reasons this place feels the way it does. The energy, the warmth, the way she made every customer feel welcome, the way she showed up for the team day in and day out. So much of what makes Cheol’s, Cheol’s, came from her being here.

This video was filmed by Taylor, and we think it’s the most beautiful way to say goodbye.

She’s heading home to Sydney, and as much as we’re going to miss her, we couldn’t be more excited for her next chapter.

Thank you Taylor, from the bottom of our hearts. For every coffee, every conversation, every little thing you did that made this place feel like a community. We’re so proud of you. 🤍

You might not know this, but our Cheol’s brand mark is the Korean letter ‘ㅊ’ (pronounced ‘Ch’) shaped as a person. From the very start of building Cheol’s Cafe, we wanted the brand to reflect one of our most important values: COMMUNITY. Our community are truly the most important part of what we’re building, and we couldn’t be more grateful to all of you who are a part of it.
