Rubys will be open Friday 5 August from 7am - 11am. Due to lack of staff. Our lovely Ashley left today to go back to NZ for a stay. Rubys will do its best for the remaining week, next week we will have super specials daily, keep posted!!!

Look what the girls found left on a table at Rubys today!!! What lovely customers we have !! I cannot thank our loyal and regular customers enough!!
All staff have commented on the lovely comments of you all, everyone has taught all these young girls, staff ( Leah, Aimee, Lucy, Ashley Lauren, Net, Zoe & Sienna) some very great attributes they will take away for life❤️❤️

It is with a very heavy heart that I have to advise my lovely customers of Rubys Bakehouse that we will be closing the cafe on August 13. This is due to the difficulties we have had to cope with over the last two years with Covid, lack of staff, and rising costs. I have had Rubys for sale for a short time and had an offer but it fell through, I was deeply disappointed by this, I love Leeming and cannot thank you all enough from the bottom of my heart for all your beautiful support and kindness you have shown to our most wonderful girls along the journey. This is devastating for myself as well as the few staff members we have left. We will have everything for sale if anyone wants some great appliances or extra kitchenware , giftware, tables, chairs, shelving,
Pop in before the 13 August and say hello/goodbye. We started Rubys over 7 years ago from nothing to bring a cafe to Leeming, it has been an interesting ride, but the most happy 7 years of my life, I will continue to live in Leeming and very much would love to support a local cafe if anyone was to start a new one. Rubys is listed for sale at Naiharcourts for any further information. Lastly I would like to thank every single one of you for visiting us and keeping Rubys alive for so long as well as helping us pay all the many lovely ladies the wages they were due, this has truely been a fantastic loyal generous ride by the whole of Leeming.
