The Dirty Chai is our special this month and it’s the one you order when you want your coffee to do a little more. It’s our housemade chai syrup shaken with vodka, a shot of coffee and coconut milk, then poured over ice and topped with cinnamon cream.
1. Add ice, 15ml housemade chai syrup, 45ml vodka, a single shot of coffee and 30ml coconut milk to a shaker
2. Shake for 10-15 seconds until cold and frothy
3. Pour over fresh ice and top with whipped cream and a dusting of cinnamon
Housemade Chai Syrup Recipe
1. Add 1 cup honey, 1 cup water and 1/2 cup brown sugar to a pot
2. Stir in 3 spoons of rooibos chai, 5 cloves, 4 cinnamon sticks and a pinch of salt
3. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes
4. Take it off the heat, strain, then stir in 30ml vanilla syrup
5. Store in the fridge and add 15ml to your cocktail
