When winter desserts look this good, skipping dessert isn’t really an option 🍹

Our new dessert menu has arrived, featuring everything from Valrhona chocolate crĂ©meux with almond praline and citrus, to poached pear with white chocolate ganache, a classic mille-feuille with vanilla crĂšme diplomat, and our bright St Clement’s tart with grapefruit and citrus salsa.

The only difficult part? Deciding which one to order.

Or do what we’d do and share a few around the table 😉

In honour of WA Day, we will be closed this Monday 1st June to give our team a well-deserved day off this long weekend. We look forward to welcoming you back from Tuesday, when the chargrill will be firing and the crayfish will be fresh and ready.

In the meantime, we still have a limited number of tables available this weekend via the link in bio... and a reminder that this Sunday is your very last chance to experience our Spanish Degustation before it comes off the menu đŸ„˜

26/05/2026

Then be quick, our Spanish Degustation is currently the talk of the town and flying off the tables.... but it finishes this Sunday! đŸ„˜

Five courses of bold, beautiful Spanish flavour, designed to be shared slowly across the table with someone worth sharing them with. As the nights cool down and the river takes on that quiet winter stillness, this is exactly the kind of evening that earns its place in your plans. From 36-month cured Jamón Ibérico to a saffron paella layered with Shark Bay clams, mussels and chorizo, finishing with a delicate milhojas... every course is a reason to stay just a little longer.

This is the last weekend to experience it, and tables are filling fast. Whether it’s an anniversary, a birthday or simply a good excuse to make a night of it by the water, this Sunday is your final chance.

Book via the link in bio before it’s gone for good!

Warning: tables are almost gone 💐

Here’s the thing about Mother’s Day at Matilda Bay... people book early, and they book for a reason. It’s the kind of day you take the most important woman in your life somewhere that matches the occasion. A table right on the Swan River, with a food and service that does the day justice ❀

This year we’re open for a la carte breakfast from 8am, with options like pulled pork shoulder benedict with smoked paprika hollandaise, blue swimmer crab omelette with crispy chilli oil or house made crumpets with strawberry and rhubarb jam.

Then from 11.30am, a three course set lunch at $130pp with dishes like Wagyu bresaola with La Delizia stracciatella, roasted Wagin duck breast with blood orange gastrique and a pistachio Basque cheesecake to finish. The kind of menu that makes her feel like the day was planned entirely around her... because it was.

Don't wait, there may not be a table left!

Most people know Matilda Bay for the view. Few know that during World War II, these same waters served as a base for the US Navy’s fleet of Catalina flying boats. Over 60 aircraft and 1,200 servicemen operating missions from right here on the Swan River.

This Anzac Day, we’re honoured to open our doors for lunch and dinner. Come and take in the view, raise a glass and mark the day in a place that carries a little more history than most.

Bookings essential.

There’s something about this view on a day like Anzac Day 🌿

Few places in Perth carry as much history as this bay. During World War II, Matilda Bay served as a base for the US Navy’s fleet of Catalina flying boats, over 60 aircraft and 1,200 servicemen operated right here from these waters, running missions as far as Ceylon. The same bay you’re looking at now. A city that has always remembered.

This Saturday 25th April, we’re honoured to open our doors and invite you to mark the day with us on the Swan River. Join us for a special set lunch after the dawn service, or settle in for dinner later in the evening with our full à la carte menu. Either way, there are few more fitting places in Perth to pause, reflect and share a meal with the people who matter.

Bookings are essential. Link in bio.
