My last post was a few weeks ago and admittedly I spent a bit of time in "hiding" after the post as it was pretty emo. Part of the reason I am stepping away from the cookie trading is to focus on my health. Over the last few months I stacked on 8 kilos and was just not feeling great - super lethargic and just not feeling it. The last straw for me was getting hit with the flu and being out for a few days. Was not impressed! Got some blood tests done and behold I have super low vitamin d hence the blahness.

Then I saw a post about the upcoming 45 day challenge.

On Friday June 12th, I dragged my butt to the info session and asked the question - "I am terribly unfit, will I be able to do it?" Bangas said yeah for sure. Roll along Monday June 15th 7am and I lasted all of um.. maybe 10minutes and I spent most of that class outside trying not to spew. He said I could do it but he definitely didnt say it would be a walk in the park!

It had been 5 years since I attempted to exercise. I knew it was gonna be hard. Kristie sat with me while I tried not to spew on that first session. When I stood up, my butt left the biggest sweat patch imprint on the pavement. I am telling you it was BIG and BEYOND embarassing! But I went back in and finished the class anyways.

More "omg i think im gonna ๐คข" moments came - especially in the first three weeks. It is now the end of week 7 - I still cannot do push ups, pull ups, box jumps or keep my butt down for proper planks, mountain climbers and that crazy bear crawl exorcist thing. But I am loving it!

And for my first I ended up losing 4.7kgs fat, decreased body fat by 5.3%, gained 1kg of muscle, visceral fat dropped from 20 to 17.

So looks like this is gonna be the next journey! Its a wee bit different to cookies but hopefully it will be as entertaining ๐คฃ
