We regret to inform you that ‘Edosei Japanese Restaurant’ has closed on the 31 August 2024 today.

This year marks our 10 years anniversary since we opened this restaurant on the 25 August 2014 and we would like to express our sincere gratitude for your supports throughout the years.

It has been a pleasure having you and we hope to cross paths in the future under more favorable circumstances.

We have had many customers who are heartbroken about the closure come back since we announced that we would be closing on August 31st. Although there is only one week left until we close, we are still looking forward to seeing you.

Dear Valued Customer

We regret to inform you that Edosei Japanese Restaurant will be closing effectively form 1 September 2024.

In the coming weeks, our team will be reaching out to you and our primary focus is to ensure completing its operations to the best of our capabilities for our customers before the decided closure date of 31 August 2024.

This year marks 10 years anniversary since we opened this restaurant on 25 August 2014 and we would like to extend our deepest appreciation for your trust throughout the years. It has been a pleasure having you and we hope to cross paths in the future under more favorable circumstances.

This is a Japanese inspired dish of crunchy chicken and a rich, warmly spiced sauce!

Chicken Sauce Katsu ($29 / Lunch Only) - Deep Fried Chicken Cutlet and Mixed Green with Edosei Special Tonkatsu Sauce. A Japanese style fried chicken cutlet coated with crispy Panko. And Edosei Special Tonkatsu Sauce is made by many spices are blended and slightly tangy, and sweet, most closely resembling a Japanese-style barbecue sauce.

The rich and colourful array of ingredients, including tuna, salmon, prawn, shell and salmon roe, makes this dish a feast for the eyes!

Toro Kaisen Don ($48 / Lunch and Dinner available) - A Bowl of Sushi Rice Topped with Otoro (Fatty Tuna), Chutoro (Medium Fatty Tuna), Salmon, Red Prawn, Ark Shell, Salmon Roe. Otoro is the most desirable part from the inside of the fish’s belly and Chutoro is a perfect blend of Otoro and Akami (the main part of a tuna fish). You will really enjoy this Don and it is certainly worth to eat!

[Check it up! – Pianist Kirill Gerstein visited to Edosei!]

World-renowned pianist Kirill Gerstein, born in Voronezh, Russia, visited at Edosei Japanese Restaurant. Mr. Gerstein was introduced to Edosei by famous restaurant in Sydney 「Tetsuya's」 and Mr. & Mrs. Azuma, owners of 「AZUMA Restaurant」.

Mr. Gerstein visited Australia this time as part of his charity work and enjoyed our food the night before the concert on 23 June.

世界的有名なピアニスト、ロシア・ヴォロネジ生まれのKirill Gerstein氏が、当店「Edosei Japanese Restaurant」を訪れました。シドニーの有名店「Tetsuya's」のChef Tetsuya氏や「AZUMA Restaurant」のオーナー東夫妻が当店を紹介してくれたため今回の訪店が実現しました。

Gerstein氏はチャリティーの一環でオーストラリアを訪れ、6月23日に行われるコンサート前日の夜に当店の料理を堪能されました。
