Chapli Kabab is one of the most famous Pashtun (Pakhtun) dishes, especially popular in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Pakistan. Among the many eateries, Khan Shinwari restaurants are very well-known for their authentic, spicy, and large-sized Chapli Kababs.

Khan Shinwari, Perth WA - Halal Pakistani Restaurant

Craving some traditional Pakistani 'garma garam' Tandoori Roti or Peshawri Naan served with delicious Pakistani curries or sizzling BBQ? Khan Shinwari is a welcome new addition to Perth’s growing lineup of Pakistani restaurants.

We Tried:
- 🍛 Shinwari Kebab Masala
- 🍖 Khan Special Platter (mix BBQ)
- 🍛 Mutton Shinwari
- 🥩 Chapli Kebab
- 🥘 Lahori Chicken Karahi
- 🫓 Tandoori Roti, Peshawri Naan, Garlic Naan

Taste-wise, if I had to rank them in descending order, I'd go with: Shinwari Kebab Masala, BBQ Platter, Chapli Kebab, Lahori Chicken Karahi, and Mutton Shinwari. A bit surprising, perhaps, as Mutton Shinwari is their specialty but personally, I found it could use a bit more punch in flavour. That said, the fresh tandoori roti and naan varieties made up for it.

🪑 Seating is limited—around 20–30 people.

🅿️ Free parallel parking is available on nearby streets. No parking right in front, but plenty around the corner.

My personal rating would be:
🥘Food: 8/10
🏬Ambiance: 7/10
