Unfortunately, we were targeted with another counterfeit banknote today.
A customer came into our store, purchased a small amount of food, and paid with a fake note. While we were preparing the change, we discovered the note was counterfeit. As soon as the customer realized we had identified it, he immediately ran out of the store.
Weβre sharing this to remind other local businesses to stay alert when accepting cash payments. Please take a moment to check banknotes carefully, as these incidents are still happening in our community.
