A couple of small changes to the opening hours over winter.. closing a little earlier.. seems everyone is having dinner a little earlier at the moment and who can blame them!

We’ve had a few questions about the Honey we have for sale in the store.. and it’s a pretty good story so I thought I’d post it here for those that might be interested

For over 8 years we’ve noticed a lot of bees in our yard, and I could never work out where they were coming from.. Until I found a spot where they were entering our external wall of the house..

Then the hunt was on to see where they had built their hive.. And what a discovery it was!

We cut open the roof and this is what we found!

Nearly 2m long, and obviously been there for many years while we were totally oblivious, right above our lounge room!

A local bee keeper came and removed them, relocated them to another property where they produced the fresh honey we have on the counter in the shop!

So yes, it is 100% local and fresh and all the proceeds from this batch going to help one of our crew, Shylah who is an absolute superstar build her martial arts career

There’s just something different about real Honey..

We’re helping out with a fundraiser for one of our crew.. local athlete Shylah Smith

$12 for a jar of beautiful golden brown fresh local honey, all proceeds going directly to our girl to fund her next trip

We’ve got a long history of supporting local athletes here in Hervey Bay, it’s a personal goal of mine to help as many kids as we can achieve their goals

Will be setting up a fighting fund very shortly to help get some of our local athletes to more events, would love to collaborate with other local business’s or identities to make this happen.. if you can offer any support please reach out!
