For now it's time to say thanks to the amazing 300 people who gathered today - during the school holidays, long weekend and not one but two footy grand finals - to send such a strong protest message against the sale of land at Mambo Wetlands and the DA before Port Stephens council.

Huge thank you also to the awesome organising committee, all helpers, speakers and the Salamander Bay Recycling Centre for not only lending us the BBQ but supplying the food and drinks as well.

And a special mention - what a huge relief Espresso 2U coffee cart gave us not only "powering us" with caffeine but literally with emergency 240v electricity for our backup PA system too, yes double life-savers👌
