🎂🩷🩵💜 BRIGHT PATCH CAFÉ IS ONE! 🐇🫖✨

One year ago today, we opened the doors to our little Wonderland in Proserpine, with a big dream of creating somewhere families could connect, children could play and everyone could feel welcome.

And what an adventure it’s been! 😂💜

From an OT who somehow became an accidental café owner, I never imagined just how much this little dream would grow!

And we’ve had some pretty amazing wins along the way!

☕ Over 14,700 sales transactions in our first year!

But the biggest achievement isn’t the awards or numbers.

It’s the familiar faces, the children racing towards the play area, the friendships made over coffee and the families who have made our little café part of their lives. 🥹

There have been plenty of learning curves and unexpected adventures down the rabbit hole, but also so many beautiful moments.

To our wonderful team, past and present, thank you for bringing the magic to life every day.

And to our customers, families, friends, suppliers and Whitsunday community — thank you for believing in our little dream and helping it grow. 💜

I’m incredibly grateful, a little emotional and still wondering how I ended up owning a café! 😂

☕🏆 WHAT A WAY TO CELEBRATE OUR FIRST BIRTHDAY! 🎂🌈

We’re feeling pretty proud and excited here at Bright Patch Café!

Earlier this month, we were honoured to receive the Customer Service Excellence Award — Micro to Small Business at the 2026 Whitsunday Business Awards! 🏆

And now our little café has been featured in Mackay and Whitsunday Life! 📰💕

We were also incredibly proud to be named a finalist for Brick & Mortar Business of the Year at the 2026 ALIBI Awards.

While we didn’t take home the national award, being recognised alongside so many wonderful businesses is something we’re genuinely grateful for.

And the timing couldn’t be more special…
