The clocks are ticking, the teacups are rattling, and our little café kingdom is having some trades work sprinkled about behind the scenes.

So, dear curious cats and Mad Hatters alike, Bright Patch Cafe will be CLOSED while the magic-makers work their wonders.

But do not fear — the tea party returns!
We shall reopen on Tuesday at 7:00am sharp, ready with warm coffees, delicious treats, and perhaps a touch more Wonderland whimsy than before.

🌿 To our Empowering Pathways Therapy community,

I’ve been speaking up this week—writing to government leaders—because what’s being discussed about the NDIS is already being felt here in our community.

At Empowering Pathways Therapy, I see children grow through consistent support.

At Bright Patch Café, I see what that growth makes possible—connection, participation, belonging.

These aren’t extras.
They’re essential.

When support is reduced:
• Therapy becomes inconsistent
• Families carry more
• Participation begins to fade

We’re told there are alternatives.

But the question remains:

What is the alternative when those pathways don’t meet the needs of children with complex disability?

In regional communities like ours, there isn’t somewhere else to go.

This is about more than services.
It’s about belonging.
