So… I thought we’d have a little fun!

🖍️ Design Our Next Pasta Label Competition!

I’m looking for 3 creative kids to design a brand new label for our fresh pasta!

Each winning design will be featured on our fresh pasta packaging for one month at a time, starting in August. How cool would it be to walk into someone’s kitchen and see YOUR artwork on their pasta? 🇮🇹❤️

Before your artwork goes to print, I’ll turn your drawing into a print-ready label and send the final design back to you for your approval. I want to make sure you’re just as excited about the finished label as I am! 😊

Here’s how to enter:

🎨 Draw your design on a piece of paper.

🖤 Our labels are printed using a thermal printer, so they’ll be black and white only. Simple line drawings, sketches and cartoons work really well!

🌈 Feel free to colour your picture while you’re creating it—it just won’t print in colour.

📸 Mum or Dad can simply take a photo and send it to me via Messenger.

🏆 I’ll choose 3 winners and announce them at the end of the month.

Their artwork will then become the official Italy at Home pasta label, rotating throughout August, September and October.

I honestly can’t wait to see what your little imaginations come up with. ❤️

🌾🇮🇹 WE'RE HEADING TO THE HERITAGE MARKETS! 🇮🇹🌾

We're so excited (and incredibly honoured!) to have been invited to be part of the Lost Trades section at the Heritage Markets in Bloomsbury next weekend!

📅 Saturday 25th July from 8am

The Lost Trades area celebrates traditional skills and handmade craftsmanship, and it feels pretty special to be recognised for keeping the tradition of fresh pasta making alive.

At Italy at Home, we use 3 simple ingredients to form our pasta

🥚 Fresh eggs
🌾 Quality semolina
💛 Water
🤲 Mixed and cut right here in Proserpine each week.

We'll be bringing along a selection of our pasta, authentic Italian sauces, frozen tray bakes, desserts and a few other favourites, so if you've been wanting to try Italy at Home, this is the perfect opportunity to come and say hello!

❄️ Planning on taking home some frozen goodies? Don't forget to bring along a cooler bag or esky if you can. It'll help keep your tray bakes and sauces nice and chilled on the trip home.

Whether you're a long-time customer or you've been following us online and haven't made it across yet, we'd absolutely love to meet you.

Firstly, thank you all so much for your orders this week. Every single order, message, share and recommendation means the world to our little family business. ❤️

A little reminder for pickup day... 3.15pm-7.30pm
Delivery orders must be in by 1pm today for Airlie Dash deliveries tonight.

If you've placed your order online, please refer back to your order confirmation for your pickup details. All pickup information is included there and it's the quickest way to find the information you're looking for.

💸 I can accept EFTPOS, bank transfer or cash on pickup. Online orders are paid for on checkout.

If you've already arranged an earlier pickup with me, please refer back to our messages and the time we've agreed upon.

Orders will remain open today while stocks last. Friday pick up also available this week.

If I have spare stock available, I'll often post it on the page throughout the week, so keep an eye out for those last-minute goodies and freezer fillers. 🇮🇹🍝

But if you're hoping to grab something specific, don't always wait for a social media post...

📞 Quite often my regulars will call or message me directly, and some weeks the spare stock is completely gone before it even makes it onto Facebook or the website. Sometimes it doesn't even survive the foot traffic through the front door! 😂

A lot of you know the drill already...

"Grace, have you got any Boscaiola left?"

"Any lasagna spare?"

"Please tell me there's some pasticcio in the freezer..."

And before I know it, it's all gone!

So if you're after something specific, don't be afraid to reach out. The worst I can say is I've sold out...

I'm so excited to finally share another little project that's been quietly bubbling away behind the scenes.

Our in-house made Greek-style yoghurt is cultured from my own live yoghurt base with no added sugar—just simple ingredients, time, and plenty of love. The result is a beautifully thick, creamy, tart yoghurt that's perfect for breakfast or a healthy dessert snack.

We were so happy to donate a prize to the raffles for our local school fete this year! ❤️

Unfortunately, we couldn’t make it along ourselves… and Loui was NOT impressed. 😂

Apparently, he now has to wait “a million days” for the next one. The absolute devastation. 🤣🎠🍭

While we may have missed out on the fun this year, we were still so glad that Italy at Home could play a little part by donating a prize for the raffles. 🇮🇹❤️

We love being able to support our local schools and community whenever we can — and hopefully next year we’ll actually make it through the gates… for Loui’s sake. 😂

School holidays look a little different around here… 😂🍝

Italy at Home has always been a family affair. During the school holidays, that usually means extra little hands in the kitchen, someone asking for a snack every five minutes, a whole lot of mess… and somehow, we still manage to get it all done. 😂

Nick, Loui and Nina are such a big part of what happens behind the scenes here — whether they’re helping, taste testing, keeping me company or simply adding to the chaos. ❤️

This little business was created from our family, inspired by our family trip to Italy, and continues to grow with my family right beside me.

And I really wouldn’t have it any other way. 🇮🇹❤️

School holiday work-life balance… we’re making it up as we go! 😂
